Maps and Directions
Directions From North of UCSD
- Take Interstate 5 South to the La Jolla Village
Drive Exit (Exit 28b).
- At the exit's stop light, go west (turn right). Stay in the right (non-turning) lane.
- Cross the Villa La Jolla Drive intersection. (There is a four-way signal light at this intersection.)
- Take the Gilman Drive off-ramp. This brings you to the UCSD campus. Continue with Campus Directions to NCMIR.
Directions From South of UCSD
- Take Interstate 5 North to the La Jolla Village Drive Exit (Exit 28b).
- At the exit's stop light, go west (turn left). Stay in the right (non-turning) lane.
- Cross the Villa La Jolla Drive intersection. (There is a four-way signal light at this intersection.)
- Take the Gilman Drive off-ramp. This brings you to the UCSD campus. Continue with Campus Directions to NCMIR.
Campus Directions to NCMIR
- On Gilman Drive, you will see an Information Booth on the right. If you need to purchase a parking permit, stop at this booth; otherwise, continue on.
- Make a right turn at Osler Lane (a four-way stop).
- After passing the Biomedical Library on your left, you will see the Basic Science Building (BSB), where NCMIR is located. The BSB is the tall, six-story, concrete building.
- Public parking is available in lots to the right or at the meters to your left after you pass a stop sign. Once parked, enter the BSB through double, glass sliding doors
- NCMIR is on the first floor, in room 1000. (The entrance to this room can be found at the other end of the lobby.)
